I will be surprised if I ever get around to adding another entry. I’m using this entry to describe some sad and wonderful events that occurred this chaotic year.<br /><br />My father, Michael A. Hall, passed away on March 19th, 2009 while vacationing in Mexico with my mother. <a href="http://www.sthelenastar.com/articles/2009/04/06/obituaries/doc49d4082b162eb728439514.txt">His obituary</a><br /><br />After 14 years of working for Cisco Systems, Inc., I was laid off due to a limited restructuring. April 27th, 2009 was my last day of work at Cisco. I will be taking a little time off to reevaluate my career and to explore other opportunities.<br /><br />My wife and I took a wonderful 17 day whirlwind vacation in Europe that included a 7 day cruise around the Mediterranean to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
